Calling all writers, creative types, fiction enthusiasts, wordsmiths, those with a desire to have their work published, or anybody who would simply like to try and have a go at something a little challenging and different: this one’s for you!
How short can you make a short story?
Flash fiction is all about writing a short story plot, with only space for the main important points. After all, we are expecting no more than 250 words for submissions. So, what are you waiting for? Show us your talents and ability to squeeze in a story plot in just a few sentences!
Excitingly, the chosen fiction pieces will be published as part of the December edition of our Well Read column, curated by Michael Kelly.
Send your submissions to email@example.com and include your name in the email. Please be sure to send in your work before Wednesday November 21, 12 pm noon.
No more than two submissions per entry/person
Maximum word count is 250 words
Please include your full name for publishing, how you would like it to appear in the publication/online (an alias is okay if you wish)
Submissions will not be considered after the deadline
